And the parents win...with only a few bumps and bruises along the way

We have success! The babies are out of their swaddles. I have to admit, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be. The 1st day was difficult (see posting below), but it has been rather smooth since. Night sleeping has been great. For some reason it has taken a little longer for them to get used to naps without their swaddles.

As for the bumps and bruises...Gusty (he is ok) got into an accident on his bike the other day. His front wheel went out from under him while he was going downhill at 35 mph. He is pretty black and blue, but fortunately nothing serious. You should see his clothes - they are completely ripped to shreds. Now I can understand why my dad never let us ride motorcycles!

Yesterday, Henry found his voice. Now, he has been chatting quietly for several weeks, but just yesterday, he started to test the limits of his voice. At first it was really cute...now it is just very loud. For a while we were a little concerned that he was so quiet compared to Emma. This should teach us to watch what we ask for!

Today Ellen, Jack, Zachary and Amelia came over for lunch. It was a lot of fun. Emma and Henry are so fascinated by their cousins! They just silently watch every single thing they do.
