Four Poopie Diapers and the discovery of the "Family Jewels!"

Some readers may be aware of the fact that when babies transition nursing to formula, their GI track tends to slow down significantly. Instead of a "dirty" diaper once a day, we came to expect one every other day - or every third day. Well that all changed when we introduced the babies to "solid" foods. The sweet elixir of rice cereal and pureed apples, carrots, etc. has sent their little systems into OVERDRIVE! The nature of the dirty diaper changes as well. Lets just use the word pungent - and that's enough said. As evidence of this trend, yesterday we had no less than four dirty, STANKY diapers - two from each of the babies. We can no longer throw them in the diaper pale inside (even though its supposed to be air tight). Now we have to put them outside for our own safety! (See picture)

In a separate but anatomically related story...Women the world over have asked the same question for ages: Why do guys spend SO MUCH time with their hand "down there." Well, I can not answer that, but I can tell you when it begins. According to Henry, man finds the family jewels exactly 6 months, 12 days into life. He discovered the ole' undercarriage a couple of days ago, and hasn't let go since! He must be my son!!
